FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Why are you limiting the workshop to 8 participants (and why is there a minimum requirement of 6)?
The entire workshop is designed to give 1:1 interaction between the participants and me while also allowing everyone time to practice and display their reading skills. 8 attendees is the most I think an 8-hour workshop can reasonably accommodate and still serve everyone well. 6 is the least we will need so that readings can be given and critiqued. Once the 8-person maximum is reached, I'll start a waitlist. Those on the waitlist will have the first opportunity at attending the next workshop.
I'm a brand new or relatively inexperienced reader. Is The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop too advanced for me?
The Fearless Fortune Teller™ Workshop is not a lecture on how to read oracles. I presume that you have some reading experience and that you'd like to get better at what you do. The beauty of this workshop is that you get to show up and do readings at the level that you're at. I'll then evaluate what you're already doing and offer tips and suggestions that will take you to the next level of reading skill. There may be others in the workshop who have a ton of experience. That's okay. This isn't a competition. This is all about you showing up, doing the work, and enhancing what you already love.

I've attended a prior online Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop. Is this just the same old thing or is there something new for me?
The format is the same. What you bring to the workshop, however, is now vastly different. You've grown in your skills, your confidence, and what you want to achieve. I will help guide you and you will get to practice at a new level so that you become even more proficient with your divination.
I've attended your prior live Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop at The Magic Castle®. Is this the same thing or is there something new for me?
The format at The Magic Castle® was primarily instruction with only 2 attendees giving 10-minute readings. This is all about you giving readings to others and any instruction comes from the critique and analysis by me that follows. All attendees get to practice their reading styles and oracle tools at least twice during the weekend.
I'm already overcommitted. How much time will The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop take?
You might be overcommitted and overwhelmed right now but The Fearless Fortune-Teller Workshop™ is designed to provide you with enhanced skills and reading abilities that ultimately free up some of your time. This workshop is all about helping you take what you already know and easily enhance your reading proficiency and accuracy so that you don't spend hours and hours and hours trying to cobble together your own solutions. But you do need to show up for the workshop trainings. That's a commitment that you'll have to be ready for and choose.
What oracle tools will you be using and what do I have to have on hand?
While I might recommend some oracle tools during the workshop, the entire concept of this training is that you bring what you ALREADY HAVE and what you ALREADY KNOW and we work with that. Some attendees might choose to use astrology. Some might choose to use tasseography. Some bibliography. Some use cards. Some use bones. And on and on. I'm happy to coach you with the tools that you're happy to and already use.
Do I really have to do readings in front of other attendees?
Yep. You do. That's the whole point of the workshop. It's a hands-on virtual experience that provides you with LIVE ONSCREEN PEOPLE to work with. I'll get to watch how you interact with them, how you present yourself and your readings, and how the entire presentation is staged. I'll then offer my critique and suggestions so you can be even better at what you already love.
Am I actually going to get you - Scott - giving me guidance and help or will someone else be doing that?
You get me. And only me. I want to be certain that you have some of the best training and input you can get.
What do I need in order to attend The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop virtually?
The only things you need are a reliable WiFi connection and a computer, tablet, or smartphone. Once you register for the workshop you will be provided with a unique number (it's called a Meeting ID) that you will enter to join our Zoom sessions. Here's some more information directly from Zoom:

What if I don’t feel ready to be a professional reader, can I attend anyway?
Of course! There's no requirement that you charge money for readings or even consider yourself a "professional." You can come for the fun, the networking, the added inspiration, and come simply to deepen your love and passion for your oracle of choice.
What is your policy on refunds?
Cancellations to The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop are fully refundable minus a $25 administration fee up until three days before the start of our first session (this lets me try to find a replacement for you). After that, the price is non-refundable. Please make certain that you are able to attend on the dates and at the times indicated for the workshop before committing to this.
Is The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop affiliated with any religion? May I incorporate my spiritual or religious beliefs into the training?
While I prefer that we use the term "spirituality," the workshop is not going to focus on any particular spiritual practice nor belief system. If, as part of your individual reading style you want to incorporate your philosophical, religious, or spiritual views, I can work with that. I have a degree in Philosophy and have studied many of the world's major religions and ancient shamanic and spiritual practices. I have certifications in life coaching, consulting hypnosis, NLP, and Ho'oponopono. Finally, I have a background, training, and experience in the entertainment industry, in general, and writing and directing, in particular, that will come in handy in discussing reading techniques and staging with you.
Is The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop going to be recorded and available for replay?
I may record the workshop for my own personal review later on (I'm always looking to improve what I do, as well) but it is NOT being recorded for replay, download, or sale by or to anyone else (including attendees). You will be giving readings and getting feedback on a personal level and I don't want you self-conscious in a way that inhibits your reading style and ability. Many people are camera shy. Many people may give or receive messages that are quite personal. Let's keep it that way. This is why I want you to consider the commitment of attending the entire workshop so you don't miss anything. (Of course, you can take plenty of notes.)
What background do you have that makes you the right person to host and conduct The Fearless Fortune-Teller™ Workshop?
My work as a coach, guide, and instructor honors and interprets a variety of world traditions, but finds its foundation in spiritual and shamanic processes. I have a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, a secondary minor in Theatre Arts, and a juris doctorate in Law. I'm also the originator of The Vitruvian Square™ divination system and creator of the oracle deck - The Deck of Shadows™. I've been known to write books about life enrichment, mysticism, and divination, and have authored the Amazon bestselling and critically acclaimed books, "The Most Magical Secret - 4 Weeks to an Ecstatic Life," “The Most Magical Secret Action Guide,” The Vitruvian Square: A Handbook of Divination and Mystical Discoveries,” and “The Masks of Tarot: Betraying the Face of Illusion.” I often appear as a guest on radio shows and podcasts that include me giving on-the-spot, live readings.
