VOTER EDUCATION & OUTREACH

Voter Registration Drives

Our office provides citizens the opportunity to register to vote at community events. Please contact our office to be a part of your event and we will assist citizens in registering to vote, updating their voter registration record (name, address, party affiliation, and signature updates), requesting vote-by-mail ballots and distributing general election information. Email outreach@voteseminole.org to request a voter registration booth. Photos from past voter registration events can be found on our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages.

High School Voter Registration

Our office encourages high schools around the county to register and pre-register students to vote. Students as young as 16 can pre-register to vote. We have garnered international recognition for our efforts in voter outreach and engaging first-time voters. We can conduct a presentation to your class or simply set up a voter registration table at your school. Please email outreach@voteseminole.org if you would like to have our office visit your school.

Sunshine State Young Reader's Awards (SSYRA) Elections

For over a decade our Elections Office has worked with elementary and middle schools to conduct their SSYRA Elections. Students who read three or more Sunshine State books are eligible to vote on their favorite book. Our office visits participating schools and allows those students an opportunity to have an official election experience by bringing paper ballots, voting booths and our voting machine.
