Blue Power Ear Formula – DIY Home Recipes for Dogs

This page includes some great homeopathic ear formulas handed down from veterinarians and resourceful dog owners, and one of them might just be what you’ve been looking for!

Labradoodles who have reoccurring ear infections are usually due to the fact their owners aren’t caring for their Doodle’s ears properly OR their Doodle has a food allergy. If nothing seems to work for your dog’s itchy ears, then you most likely need to figure out what your dog’s allergic to and avoid it at all costs!!

“The Blue Power Ear Formula”

The Blue Power Ear Formula is also effective for treating fungus-type infections on the feet and elsewhere on the dog, for cuts on dogs or people, and hot spots. You may find other uses for this simple yet effective solution. Remember it is for external use only, and be careful not to get into the eyes.

The success rate for this treatment is 95-99%, so if it fails, it’s usually because the treatment instructions weren’t followed correctly or they were not treated often enough or long enough.

Dogs on the verge of ear canal surgery have returned to normal with only a couple of treatments and a couple of follow-up treatments to keep the ears healthy.

Should I Give My Dog ACV?

Apple cider vinegar can contain some vitamins and minerals. However, there’s no practical reason to give your dog apple cider vinegar, it doesn’t provide them nutrition, and many of the health claims have yet to be proven.

Dr. Lorraine’s Homemade Ear Cleaner

Dr. Lorraine Kassarjian, a South Florida veterinarian, has developed her own favorite recipe for homemade ear cleaner.

Ingredients and Instructions:

  • pour 50% white vinegar
  • pour 50% hydrogen peroxide
  • splash of alcohol

Mix it up and use it as an ear cleaner for dirty ears. If there is any chance of an infection, I use a medicated flush with antibiotic properties.” As with the other preparations, use the preparation to saturate a cloth and wipe out the visible part of the ear. Follow the recommendations of your dog’s veterinarian if you detect signs of ear problems.

dogs ear infection What Does an Ear Infection Look Like?

The obvious symptoms of an ear infection may start with your dog shaking or tilting his head. If you look inside the ear, you might:

  • See a reddish-brown discharge (yeast)
  • A waxy, yellow ear discharge can also be a sign your dog has an ear infection
  • Smell a musky semi sweet odor in the ear
  • Redness
  • Swelling
  • Crusts or scabs on the inside of the ear

And you might see your dog:

  • Rubbing their head on your furniture
  • Scratching around his ear and whining
  • Shaking or tilting their head to the side while walking usually means it’s reached the super painful stage!

Ear infections can be a result of allergies, mites, polyps, overproduction of ear wax, excessive bathing, or swimming (which can leave too much moisture in the ears).
